Reading rooms reopening following COVID-19 guidelines

We are pleased to inform you that  on  July 1st, 2021, the library reading rooms will reopen following government  COVID-19 guidelines.

However it is pointed out that our facilities are available only for members of the university community (students and teaching staff of Panteion) with an academic ID or membership card.

All other services remain electronic (lending, renewals, interlibrary loan, reference, certificates, cards)  and are carried out through the online e-applications service and Ask a Librarian. Please, before your arrival at the Library, find out about the terms and conditions described below and specify the health protocols and recommendations of the Association of Greek Academic Libraries.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday,  9:00 – 17:00.

Reading Rooms: we’re limiting the number of Readers in the Reading Rooms to keep everyone safe. We can only admit 80 people.

You must wear a face covering at all times, including when at your desk in the Reading Room.
When you arrive at the Library, you’ll need to show your Library Card and scan it at the computer.
If you need collection items you’ll have to already ordered them electronically. You can also collect these from the Issue Desk. By the end of your visit, you have to return the material at the Book Drop.
Library’s computers and materials on open shelves in the Reading Rooms will not be accessible.

Book lending: is only available electronically upon request in the Document Borrowing Application.

Interlibrary loan is carried out electronically upon request at ill@lis.panteion.gr.

Book returns: book returns are carried out at the Book Drop, left to the automatic library door.

New member registration: remains online upon request at the User Card Application.
