The Panteion University Library and Information Center is located at 136 Sygrou Avenue, on the ground floor of the neoclassical building. The Library’s entrance is at the back of the building on Pantou Street, that is, the first parallel to Syngrou Avenue.
You can visit the Library with one of the following bus routes from OASA:

- The Library is open from September to June from 09:00 a.m until 20:00 p.m.
- During summer, in months July and August, the Library is open from 09:00 a.m to 15:00 p.m.
- The Library is closed during the official Holidays and following the Senate’s Decisions.
- In special circumstances, the Library’s opening hours may change.

The Library is open access. That means that everyone has the right to visit the Library without necessarily acquiring the right to borrow.
Circulation – Renewals – Holdings
In order to get a library card you must be a member of the Academic Community of Panteion University (student, postgraduate, PhD candidate, professor, administrative staff). You can get a Library card after you have received your academic ID (pass) which you can also use as a Library card. To activate it, you will have to go through the Borrowing Desk.
Erasmus students should also visit the Library and the Circulation Desk
Yes you can. For various reasons, several members of the academic community may not have their academic ID. In this case, you issue a library card at the Borrowing Desk.
No you cannot borrow. You can, however, read at the library and take material (5 items) which must be returned on the same day. Moreover, if you are studying at another university, you can aplly for intelibrary loan. In this case you should contact the Library of the University where you are studying.
No, Library does not provide photocopying services. Users may borrow material of interest and photocopy it outside the Library, assuming responsibility for compliance with copyright law.
Books are renewed:
- Electronically after logging into the User Account.
- At the Automatic Loan Machines with the Library Card.
- At the Circulation Desk with the Library Card.
- You cannot renew books once the return date has passed.
Library members can place a hold if the item they want is currently on loan to another library member. Members are allowed two holds at one time. You may place a hold by requesting it at the Circulation Desk.
You can hold books:
